After exhausting all possible scenarios, officials with 81 Speedway and the Best Western in Park City have been forced to cancel the 2020 season awards banquet due to ongoing Covid-19 restrictions and mandates set in place by Sedgwick County health officials. Attention Stock Car drivers, the 2022 81 Speedway Stock Car rule book has been finalized with a decision on the "grace period" allowed for the Hoosier 500 tire. As previously announced earlier, the American Racer KK704 G60 and IMCA stamped G60 tires are the two tire choices allowed for competition in 2022 and going forward. A total of 95 cars signed in for action, and in the words of Tony Bokhoven, fans were treated to a “Jim Dandy” of an event all evening long.
